Amendment #5 to H3189

Service Impact Reporting

Representatives Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Rushing of Boston, Khan of Newton, Malia of Boston, Balser of Newton and Rogers of Cambridge moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

Section 13.

The Governor through his Secretaries shall analyze, study and evaluate the impact on services to the people served by each agency affected by this act.  Reports will be filed with the House and Senate committee relevant to each agency. An initial report, due no later than July 1, 2015 will include the metrics, based on the mission particular to each agency, by which the service impacts will be measured.   Additional periodic reports measuring the performance based on said metrics will be due on or before December 31, 2015, on or before July 1, 2016 and on or before December 31, 2016.
