Unaccompanied Homeless Youth Housing

Representatives O'Day of West Boylston, Rogers of Cambridge, Vega of Holyoke, Donahue of Worcester, Gordon of Bedford, Balser of Newton, Dwyer of Woburn, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Finn of West Springfield, Linsky of Natick, Hecht of Watertown, Keefe of Worcester, Khan of Newton, Madaro of Boston, Fox of Boston, Scibak of South Hadley, Smizik of Brookline, Gifford of Wareham, Kafka of Stoughton, Ultrino of Malden, Malia of Boston, Tosado of Springfield, Decker of Cambridge, McMurtry of Dedham, Day of Stoneham, Pignatelli of Lenox, Velis of Westfield, Toomey of Cambridge and Fiola of Fall River move to amend the bill, in section 2, in item 7004-0099, by inserting after the words "acts of 2012 for a community action grant" the following words:- ; provided further, that not less than $2,500,000 shall be allocated to provide housing to unaccompanied youth experiencing homelessness, in accordance with Chapter 450 of the Acts of 2014;"

and further moves to amend said item by striking out the figure “$7,802,359” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$10,302,359”.
