Pathway to Redemption

Mr. Collins of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2 in line item 4590-1507 by adding the following: "provided further, that the department of public health shall award the full amount of each grant to Pathway to Redemption previously included in the youth-at-risk grants, in the amount of $200,000.00 upon commitment of matching funds from for re-entry programs at Pathway to Redemption, to reduce recidivism rates and to reduce youth violence among young persons at highest risk for being perpetrators or victims of gun violence in the city of Boston and that said program and that the department shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means, not later than January 20, 2016, on re-entry programming."
