Amendment #152 to H3400

Municipal Police Staffing Grant

Mr. Moran of Lawrence moves to amend the bill in section 2, line item 1599-0026, by inserting after “Laws” the following:-

provided further that $5,000,000 shall be transferred to the executive office of public safety and security for a competitive municipal police staffing grant program to be administered by the office for staffing police departments and to support municipal improvements.; and in said item by striking out the figure “4,800,000” and inserting in place thereof the figure “9,800,000”.
