Amendment #205 to H3400

MBTA Audits and the IG

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by striking section 9 subsection (d) and replace it with the following:-

“(d) The director shall report and refer any instances of fraud, waste or abuse in the expense of transportation funds or the procurement of any supplies, services or construction by the department to the inspector general for investigation pursuant to chapter 12A and the results of such investigation shall be referred to the attorney general for appropriate action.”.
