Amendment #222 to H3400

Women's Preventative Health Reserve

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill, in section 2, by inserting after item 1599-0093, the following new item:-

“1599-0321  For a reserve to provide funding for women's preventive health services, as prescribed by section 2713(a)(4) of the Public Health Service Act; provided, that funding is limited to mitigating costs incurred by individuals affected by health plans sponsored by businesses who choose to opt out of coverage for women's preventive health services……………………………………………………………………………...$300,000.”.
