Mr. Gonzalez of Springfield moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 7030-1002 the following item: “7030-1005 For Reading Recovery, a 1-to-1 early intervention individual tutorial literacy program designed as a pre-special education referral and short –term intervention for children who are at risk of failing to read in the first grade; provided, that said program shall provide ongoing documentation and evaluation of results................ $300,000”.
