Amendment #296 to H3400

Proposed Dental Services

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move that the bill be amended by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XX.  Notwithstanding section 53 of chapter 118E of the General Laws, for fiscal year 2016, the executive office of health and human services may determine the extent to which to include within its covered services for adults the federally-optional dental services that were included in its state plan or demonstration program in effect on January 1, 2002; provided that dental services shall be covered for adults at least to the extent covered as of June 30, 2015.”.
