Amendment #311 to H3400

W.E.B. Dubois Learning Academy Saturday Enrichment School

Mr. Swan of Springfield moves that the bill be amended in section 2, line item 8100-0111, by adding the following:

“provided further that not less than $200,000 shall be expended to the Black Men of Greater Springfield, Inc., to implement the W.E.B. Dubois Learning Academy Saturday Enrichment School, W.E.B. Dubois Academy Summer Camping Program, After School tutoring programs, Unity grants program; in collaboration with other community-based youth serving organizations, in order to expand capacity, all for the purposes of expanding youth development and violence prevention efforts in Greater Springfield.”
