Mr. Howitt of Seekonk moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new section: -

"SECTION XX. Chapter 7 of the General Laws as so appearing in the 2012 Official Edition is hereby amended by inserting after section 56 the following new section:--

Section 56A. Municipalities shall be exempt from sections 52-56 inclusive, when using local money for a city or town project.".
