Paid Sick Time Work Requirements

Mrs. Orrall of Lakeville moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XX. Section 4 of chapter 505 of the acts of 2014 is hereby amended by striking out the first sentence of subsection (d) of paragraph (4) and replacing it with the following new sentence:-

(4) All employees who work at least an average of 20 hours per week each month employed by an employer of eleven or more employees shall be entitled to earn and use up to 40 hours of earned paid sick time from that employer as provided in subsection (d) in a calendar year.”.
