Amendment #38 to H3400

Mr. Holmes of Boston moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7066-0019 by inserting after “students is sufficient” the following: “and provided further, that not less than $300,000 be expended for Massachusetts Educational Opportunity Association to assist traditionally underrepresented students in higher education, to enter college, graduate and assimilate more fully into our country's economic and social fabric;” and in said item by striking out the figures, “$1,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures, “$1,050,000”
