METCO Reporting Language

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 7010-0012, by adding the following: "; provided further, that all grant applications submitted to and approved by the department of elementary and secondary education shall include a detailed line item budget specifying how such funds shall be allocated and expended; and provided further, that the department of elementary and secondary education shall submit a report on the impact of the grant program on student outcomes, the expenditure of funds by districts, and the extent to which the services rendered by METCO, Inc. support the goals of the grant program to the house and senate chairs of the joint committee on education and the chairs of the house and senate committees on ways and means not later than December 1, 2016."
