Amendment #582 to H3400

relative to yearly audit of public assistance programs

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, DeCoste of Norwell, Dwyer of Woburn, Lombardo of Billerica and Mirra of West Newbury moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

“SECTION XXXX. Section 12 of chapter 11 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the third sentence the following sentence:- Notwithstanding the foregoing, the department shall audit the department of transitional assistance at least once every year.”
