Amendment #584 to H3400

MBTARF conflict of interest law

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton and Diehl of Whitman moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

"SECTION XXXX.  Section 5 of chapter 268A of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (b 1/2) the following new subsection:- “(b 3/4) a former employee of the MBTA Retirement Fund who, within two years after his last employment has ceased, appears personally before the MBTA Retirement Fund or any of its employees and officials as agent or attorney for anyone other than the commonwealth in connection with any particular matter in which the commonwealth, a state agency or the MBTA Retirement Fund is a party or has a direct and substantial interest, or”."
