Healthy Food-Healthy Families Pilot Project

Mr. Kocot of Northampton moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 2511-0100, in line 9, by inserting after "department" the following: "...provided further, that $25,000 shall be expended for Grow Food Northampton for the purposes of establishing a healthy gardening program for children and families residing in Florence Heights and Hampshire Heights public housing facilities in the city of Northampton, provided further that said funds may be used for transportation, gardening materials and stipends for master gardeners participating in the program."; and in said item by striking out the figures "$5,199,798" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$5,224,798".
