Amendment #636 to H3400

MassDOT Board and Collective Bargaining

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, Gifford of Wareham, Frost of Auburn and Smola of Warren move to amend the bill by inserting the new section:-

“SECTION XX.  Section 2 of Chapter 6C is hereby amended by inserting after subsection (k) the following:-

(l) The MassDOT board shall review the process of all collective bargaining agreements. The MassDOT board shall approve of all agreements, as needed to establish cost-effective operations and to better promote a collaborative relationship between management and labor.”.
