Amendment #646 to H3400

Amendment Providing For a Six Month Residency Requirement

Mr. Speliotis of Danvers moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7004-0101, in line 165, by inserting after "beds"  the following:

"; Provided further that any participant in the Department of Housing and Community Development’s emergency assistance program shall be eligible for said program if such participant constituents a resident of the Commonwealth, as defined in Section 1 of Chapter 176J of the 2012 Official Edition Massachusetts General Laws, for not less than six months prior to the Department of Housing and Community Development placing said participant in a hotel or motel for emergency housing purposes.”
