Amendment #653 to H3400

Independent Living Centers

Representatives Story of Amherst, Brady of Brockton, Dykema of Holliston, Linsky of Natick, O'Day of West Boylston, Peake of Provincetown, Roy of Franklin, Sannicandro of Ashland, Velis of Westfield and Walsh of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting before item 4120-1000 the following:- "4120-0200  For independent living centers; provided, that not later than March 2, 2016, the commission shall report to the house and senate committees on ways and means on the services provided by the independent living centers, which shall include, but not be limited to:  (a) the total number of consumers that request and receive services; (b) the services requested and received by consumers; (c) the total number of consumers moved from nursing homes; and (d) the total number of independent living plans and goals set and achieved by consumers ............ $5,630,018"; and in item 4120-4000 by striking the figures "$14,472,488" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$8,842,470".
