Amendment #688 to H3400

Breast Pump Language

Representatives Kafka of Stoughton and Galvin of Canton move to amend the bill by inserting after section 75 the following section:

"SECTION XX. "Effective July 1, 2015, Mass Health and any commercial insurer that insurers MassHealth subscribers shall provide double electric breast pumps to expectant and new mothers per birth as specifically prescribed by their attending physician, consistent with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010, Public Law 111-148.  All commercial carriers including those that insure MassHealth subscribers shall pay in network durable medical equipment  providers at minimum the MassHealth designated fee for double electric breast pumps."".
