Amendment #705 to H3400

JF&CS Fragile Beginnings

Representatives Stanley of Waltham, Khan of Newton, Decker of Cambridge, Heroux of Attleboro, Cusack of Braintree, Fox of Boston, Puppolo of Springfield, Gordon of Bedford, Calter of Kingston and Kafka of Stoughton move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4800-0038, in line 33, by inserting after "programs" the following: "provided further, that no less than $150,00 shall be expended for the Fragile Beginnings program to provide counseling and education to pregnant women and mothers at risk for DCF involvement"; and in said item by striking out the figures "$277,494,460" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$277,644,460".
