Amendment #740 to H3400

Highway Visitor Information Centers

Representatives Atkins of Concord, Gifford of Wareham, Vieira of Falmouth, Ultrino of Malden, Madden of Nantucket, DiNatale of Fitchburg, Pignatelli of Lenox, Muratore of Plymouth, Cutler of Duxbury, Scibak of South Hadley, Cariddi of North Adams, Orrall of Lakeville, Calter of Kingston, Peake of Provincetown, Hill of Ipswich, Puppolo of Springfield, Ashe of Longmeadow, Mark of Peru, Kelcourse of Amesbury, Benson of Lunenburg, Mannal of Barnstable and Howitt of Seekonk move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 7008-0900, by adding the following, "provided further that no less than $400,000 shall be expended for opening the 11 visitor information centers from Memorial Day to Columbus Day".
