Amendment #81 to H3400

Food Rescue Grants Program

Mr. McMurtry of Dedham moves to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4510-0020, by adding the following: "provided further, that $150,000 in grants shall be distributed to established regional food rescue organization(s) for the purpose of funding and expanding perishable food rescue from food retail, wholesale and production facilities for distribution to 501c3 social assistance agencies via methods which ensure food safety and security" and further in said item by striking the figures "$233,203" and inserting in place thereof the figures "$383,203"
