Amendment #819 to H3400

Combating the Opioid Addiction Epidemic

Mr. Lyons of Andover moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XXXX. The General Laws are hereby amended in Section 13C of chapter 118E by inserting after the last paragraph the following paragraph:-

Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Secretary of Health and Human Services shall not set the rate for adult residential behavioral health and addiction treatment lower than $125 a day. "
