Harrassment Prevention Orders

Ms. Cole of Peabody moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XX. Section 3 of Chapter 258E of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in subsection (c), by striking the first sentence, and inserting in place thereof the following sentence: A fee of not more than $15 shall be charged for filing of the complaint; provided however, that the fee shall be waived for indigent persons.”.
