Adolescent Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment

Representatives Khan of Newton, Malia of Boston, Dykema of Holliston, Balser of Newton, Vega of Holyoke, Hecht of Watertown, Rogers of Cambridge, Fox of Boston, Ashe of Longmeadow, Devers of Lawrence, Barber of Somerville, McKenna of Webster, Golden of Lowell, Gordon of Bedford and Madaro of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4590-0250, in line 21 by inserting after “youth” the following: “; provided further that not less than $40,000 shall be expended to enhance the Commonwealth's program to administer substance abuse screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment in public schools”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$12,257,055” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$12,297,055”.
