Amendment #871 to H3400

DTA Transferability

Representatives Khan of Newton, Vega of Holyoke, Devers of Lawrence, DiNatale of Fitchburg, DuBois of Brockton, Fox of Boston, Gordon of Bedford and Hecht of Watertown move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4400-1000, in line 2 by inserting after “provided,” the following: "that after April 1, 2016, the commissioner of the department of transitional assistance may transfer funds for identified deficiencies between items, 4403-2000, 4405-2000 and 4408-1000; provided further, that the distribution of the funds to be transferred shall be included in an allocation plan, which the commissioner shall file with the house and senate committees on ways and means 15 days prior to a transfer; provided further, pursuant to approval by the executive office for administration and finance, the commissioner of the department of transitional assistance may transfer funds for identified deficiencies between this item and 4400-1100; provided further,”.
