Amendment #884 to H3400

Culturally competent outreach to Cape Verdean immigrants

Representatives Carvalho of Boston, Fox of Boston, Holmes of Boston and Cabral of New Bedford move that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4003-0122, in line 15, by inserting after “services” the following: “; provided, that not less than $250,000 shall be expended for Cape Verdean Community UNIDO, Inc to support outreach to immigrants in the Roxbury and Dorchester areas of Boston”; and in said item by striking out the figures “$363,299” and inserting in place thereof the figures “613,299”.
