Financing of the Center for Health Information Analysis (CHIA)

Mr. Nangle of Lowell moves that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4100-0060, by inserting after the words “12C” the following:  “provided further, the assessed amount for hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, and surcharge payors shall not exceed of 66% of the amount of the appropriation minus amounts collected from (1) filing fees; (2) fees and charges generated by the center’s publication or dissemination of reports and information; and (3) federal matching revenues received for these expenses or received retroactively for expenses of predecessor agencies;”
