Massachusetts Service Alliance

Representatives Fox of Boston, Holmes of Boston, Rushing of Boston and Decker of Cambridge move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 7003-1206 by inserting after For the Massachusetts Service Alliance to administer State Service Corps grants and provide training and support to volunteer and service organizations; provided, that the Urban League of Eastern Massachusetts shall receive not less than $700,000 of the amount appropriated and that not less than $600,000 be expended for the Urban League of Springfield and the remainder shall be expended for programs supporting and promoting cultural heritage diversity, and education in the city of Boston that were in item 7003-0702 of chapter 165 of the acts of 2014 in said item by striking out the figures “$600,000” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,350,000”
