Mrs. Harrington of Groton moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XX.  Section 6G of chapter 231 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end of subsection (a) the following:— The plaintiff may introduce evidence of an monetary or financial lien upon a verdict or settlement deriving from medical costs incurred.”.
