Amendment #990 to H3400

Plymouth County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Prevention

Representatives Cantwell of Marshfield, Cutler of Duxbury, Calter of Kingston, Gifford of Wareham, Murphy of Weymouth, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Hunt of Sandwich and Muratore of Plymouth move to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 4512-0500 the following item:

4512-XXXX For the purpose of promoting plymouth county substance abuse prevention and mental health services, provided, that not less than $300,0000 shall be expanded for the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology's INTERFACE in Plymouth County; provided further, not less than $100,000 shall be expanded to establish a plymouth county opiate abuse prevention taskforce to provide for a taskforce coordinator, MassTAPP technical assistance, and substance abuse data collection; and provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be disbursed to gosnold treatment centers for a pilot project to provide on-call recovery coaching services for patients presenting with opiate addiction at hospital emergency departments in Plymouth County.......$500,000.
