Mr. Dempsey of Haverhill and others move to amend H.3400 in section 2, in item 0940-0101, by striking out the figure “$2,118,911” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $2,168,911
And further amend said section 2, in item 0940-0102, by striking out the figure “$140,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $190,000
And further amend said section 2, in item 5042-5000, by inserting after the words “appropriate for group care;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $55,000 shall be expended for the Northwestern Juvenile Fire Intervention Response Education and Safety Partnership for the purposes of a juvenile firesetter intervention and prevention program in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, the town of Athol and the city of Holyoke;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$86,367,266” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $86,422,266
And further amend said section 2, in item 5046-0000, by inserting after the words “private sources;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $150,000 shall be expended for the International Institute of New England for culturally and linguistically appropriate mental health services for immigrants and refugees; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology's Interface in Plymouth County;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$376,541,024” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $376,791,024
And further amend said section 2, in item 5047-0001, by inserting after the words “agreement may provide;” the following:- provided further, that there shall not be a reduction in services in the Southeast area related to the alignment of state operated Emergency Services;
And further amend said section 2, in item 7004-0099, by inserting after the words “security requirements;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $15,000 shall be expended for the Turning Point Day Resource Center for the Homeless in the town of Wareham; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for Methuen Arlington Neighborhood, Inc.; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for World is Our Classroom, Inc. serving the towns of Holyoke, Westfield, Chicopee and Greenfield; provided further, that not less than $25,000 shall be expended for the South Worcester Neighborhood Improvement Corporation; provided further, that not less than $175,000 shall be expended for the provision of emergency services operated by Community Action Programs Inter-City, Inc. for the communities of Chelsea, Revere and Winthrop;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$7,802,359” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $8,142,359
And further amend said section 2, in item 7004-0101, by inserting after the words “temporarily housed in hotels or motels;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $10,000 shall be expended for a pilot program to assist families in the counties of Franklin and Hampshire with the costs of infant care; provided further, that not less than $100,000 shall be expended for People, Inc. for the transportation needs and services of families being housed in emergency assistance hotels or motels in the towns of Swansea and Somerset; provided further, that not less than $75,000 shall be expended for the Playspace Program operated by Horizons for Homeless Children;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$154,873,948” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $155,058,948
And further amend said section 2, in item 7004-0102, by inserting after the words “information system;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for Chelsea Community Center for the continuation of community-based housing services; provided further, that not less than $125,000 shall be expended for the United Way of Pioneer Valley on behalf of the Western Massachusetts Network to End Homelessness to facilitate regional coordination and implement the Western Massachusetts Opening Doors Plan to End Homelessness; provided further, that not less than $40,000 shall be expended for Friendly House, Inc. in the city of Worcester; provided further, that not less than $50,000 shall be expended for Berkshire County Regional Housing Authority to coordinate homeless shelters and safety net services in Berkshire County;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$43,200,335” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $44,000,000
And further amend said section 2, in item 7004-9005, by inserting after the words “capital repairs;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $500,000 shall be provided for local costs associated with the implementation of chapter 235 of the acts of 2014;
And further amend said item by striking out the figure “$64,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $64,500,000
