Amendment #1 to H3591

An Act establishing a sick leave bank for Carol Gulino, an employee of the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission

The committee on Bills in the Third Reading recommends that the bill be amended moves to amend House, No. 3591 by striking out, in line 7, the words “trial court paid” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- extended illness;

and by inserting before the enacting clause the following emergency preamble:-

“Whereas, The deferred operation of this act would tend to defeat its purpose, which is to establish forthwith a sick leave bank for a certain employee of the Massachusetts rehabilitation commission, therefore it is hereby declared to be an emergency law, necessary for the immediate preservation of the public convenience.”.
