Amendment #1 to H3837

An Act relative to applications for waivers of the patient protection and affordable care act

The committee on Bills in the Third Reading recommends that the bill be amended Engrossed Bill relative to applications for waivers of the patient protection and affordable care act (See House, No. 3837) being section 77 contained in the Engrossed Bill making appropriations for the fiscal year 2015 to provide for supplement certain existing appropriations and for certain other activities and projects (see House, No. 3829), which was returned by His Excellency the Governor pursuant to Article LVI with recommendation of amendment specified by him, (see Attachment E of  House, No. 3838).

Reports recommending that the amendment recommended by His Excellency the Governor be considered in the following form:

By striking out all after the enacting clause and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“SECTION 1. Section 77 of chapter 119 of the Acts of 2015 is hereby amended by striking out the figure ‘90” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 30.

SECTION 2.  This act shall take effect as of November 2, 2015”
