Panic Button Feature Within TNC Phone Apps

Miss Gregoire of Marlborough moves to amend the bill by inserting the following section:-

SECTION XX.  Any transportation network company working within the Commonwealth must provide within their user interface an emergency safety alert feature.  The emergency alert feature must provide the following:

1)Option to connect a call to the police

2)Send alerts about trip and driver to local authorities

3)Contact company’s incident response team

4)Send automated messages to preselected emergency contacts that details the trip and allows for real time GPS monitoring
