Substance Abuse Services for Veterans

Representatives Kane of Shrewsbury, Schmid of Westport, Heroux of Attleboro, Muratore of Plymouth, Dooley of Norfolk, Cutler of Duxbury, Campbell of Methuen, Donahue of Worcester, Benson of Lunenburg, Dwyer of Woburn, Howitt of Seekonk, Keefe of Worcester, Gregoire of Marlborough, Madden of Nantucket, Lyons of Andover, Cantwell of Marshfield, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Decker of Cambridge, Dykema of Holliston, Muradian of Grafton, Rogers of Norwood, Hunt of Sandwich, Ferguson of Holden, Khan of Newton, Mahoney of Worcester and Rosa of Leominster move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4512-0200, by adding at the end the following:

 

“provided further, that not less than $100,000 be expended for the establishment of a substance abuse treatment clinic in Shrewsbury for veterans operated by Veterans Inc., to be staffed by licensed mental health providers.”
