Amendment #1071 to H4200
Enhances Home Care Rate Equalization
Representatives Walsh of Framingham, Dwyer of Woburn, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Kaufman of Lexington, Rosa of Leominster, Gordon of Bedford, Gentile of Sudbury, Vega of Holyoke, Galvin of Canton, Rogers of Cambridge, Moran of Lawrence, Benson of Lunenburg, Linsky of Natick, Khan of Newton, Koczera of New Bedford, Hecht of Watertown, Cutler of Duxbury, Cariddi of North Adams, Toomey of Cambridge, McMurtry of Dedham, Ayers of Quincy and DiZoglio of Methuen move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 9110-1500 by inserting after the following: “section 1396n(c);” the following new language:--
“provided further, notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, effective July 1, 2016, and for successive fiscal years, the care management component of the rate for item 9110-1500 shall be equal to the care management component of the rate for the Community Choices program in item 4000-0600, and that the care management rate for the Community Choices program shall not be less than the rate effective on January 1, 2015;”
and by striking out the figures “$74,345,122,” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$79,356,566.”
