Amendment #1107 to H4200

Community Access Television

Representatives Balser of Newton, Hunt of Sandwich, Vieira of Falmouth, Khan of Newton, Heroux of Attleboro, Rogers of Cambridge and Day of Stoneham move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

"SECTION  XXXX.  Chapter 166A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 22 the following section:-

Section 23.   All cable television providers shall locate PEG channels in as close proximity as possible to broadcast channels and provide PEG channels with the ability to broadcast in High Definition or other technology offered to broadcast channels. Cable television providers shall also ensure proper mapping of channels.”.
