Amendment #1175 to H4200

Senior Citizen Property Tax Relief

Ms. Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XX. Paragraph (3)(ii) of subsection (k) of Section 6 of Chapter 62 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking “$600,000” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

the median assessed value for a single-family home of the municipality for the preceding

calendar year, as calculated by the department of revenue.”
