DCF Regulation Change and Family Resource Center Reporting

Representatives Khan of Newton, Vega of Holyoke, O'Day of West Boylston, Swan of Springfield, Ashe of Longmeadow, Decker of Cambridge, Garballey of Arlington, Heroux of Attleboro and Keefe of Worcester move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4800-0015, in line 110, by inserting after the word "months;" the following: "(l) the number of children and families served by the family resource centers by area; provided further, that not later than November 3, 2016, the department shall submit a report to the house and senate committees on ways and means and the joint committee on children, families and persons with disabilities that detail any changes to rules, regulations or guidelines established by the department in the previous fiscal year to carry out its duties under chapter 119 of the General Laws; provided further, that the report shall also contain an evaluation of the family resource centers services provided and their effectiveness;"
