Amendment #1223 to H4200

Prohibiting the purchase of certain products with EBT cards

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, DeCoste of Norwell, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Jones of North Reading and Lombardo of Billerica move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

"SECTION XXXX. Section 5I(b) by striking out in the last sentence “court.” and inserting in place thereof the following-: “court; or marijuana or marijuana products not prescribed under the law for medicinal purposes” and by striking out in section 5j “; or on cruise ships.” and inserting in place thereof the following-: “; on cruise ships; or at establishments or businesses that sell marijuana or marijuana products not prescribed under the law for medicinal purposes.”
