Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services/RISE

Representatives Malia of Boston, Fox of Boston, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Fiola of Fall River, Fernandes of Milford, Chan of Quincy, Barber of Somerville, Benson of Lunenburg, Sannicandro of Ashland, Toomey of Cambridge, Walsh of Framingham, Smizik of Brookline, Collins of Boston, Ultrino of Malden, Madaro of Boston, Donahue of Worcester, Cantwell of Marshfield, O'Day of West Boylston, Rogers of Norwood, Gordon of Bedford, Tosado of Springfield, Vega of Holyoke, McMurtry of Dedham, Schmid of Westport, Hecht of Watertown, Khan of Newton and Moran of Lawrence move to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 4513-1130, by adding the following “; provided further that services funded through this line shall include a statewide domestic violence hotline, community-based domestic violence response, emergency and transitional residential services for domestic and sexual violence victims and their children, supervised visitation, and trauma services for children,”; and in said item, by striking out the figures “$30,572,153” and inserting in place thereof the figures “$33,500,000”.
