Amendment #1238 to H4200

Feasibility Study for Roxbury Community College

Representatives Malia of Boston, Fox of Boston and Rushing of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting the following new item:-

; and provided further, that not less than $130,000 shall be expended on a planning study by the division of capital asset management and maintenance to examine the feasibility of the renovation of the historically registered Dudley House in the Roxbury section of the city of Boston, and the investment needed to define the scope of renovation, repairs and upgrades required to make the building habitable and code compliant for the use of the community; provided further, that no funds appropriated in this item shall be expended for administrative, space or energy expenses of the department not directly related to personnel or programs funded in this item; and provided further, that the department shall file a copy of a report on the planning study not later than December 1, 2016 with the house and senate committees on ways and means and the house and senate committees on bonding, capital expenditures and state assets”
