Representatives Malia of Boston, Fox of Boston, Ashe of Longmeadow, Cutler of Duxbury, Ultrino of Malden, Gregoire of Marlborough, Holmes of Boston, Decker of Cambridge, Coppinger of Boston, Campbell of Methuen, Cantwell of Marshfield, Khan of Newton, Donahue of Worcester, Garlick of Needham, Orrall of Lakeville, Chan of Quincy, Fiola of Fall River, DiZoglio of Methuen, Gonzalez of Springfield, Gordon of Bedford, Keefe of Worcester, Lawn of Watertown, Heroux of Attleboro, Kocot of Northampton, Mannal of Barnstable, McMurtry of Dedham, Mahoney of Worcester, Rogers of Cambridge, Rogers of Norwood, Puppolo of Springfield, Ryan of Boston, Sannicandro of Ashland, Silvia of Fall River, O'Day of West Boylston, Toomey of Cambridge, Tosado of Springfield, Whipps Lee of Athol, DuBois of Brockton, Madaro of Boston and Hunt of Boston move to amend the bill in section 2, by inserting the following new item: xxxx-xxxx "; provided further that not less than $500,000 shall be expended to support a health care workforce training pilot program to train selected hospitals or health center workers in better serving patients seeking substance use prevention and treatment services; and provided further that the Department of Public Health shall develop rules and regulations necessary to create and implement this health care workforce training pilot program, including but not limited to oversight of an application process for employers that have established and participated in a cooperative employee labor/management process, including but not limited to those established with labor organizations.”
