Amendment to Reduce the Cost of College Textbooks

Mr. Timilty of Milton moves that the bill be amended by adding the following section: "SECTION  XXXX.   The Department of Higher Education is hereby authorized and directed to establish suggested guidelines and protocols in accordance with U.S. Department of Education Regulation 668.164C to encourage and assist Colleges and Universities with the implementation of programs which reduce the cost of college textbooks and other educational materials."
