Amendment #1250 to H4200

DTA Children's Clothing Allowance and Rent Allowance

Representatives Khan of Newton, Sannicandro of Ashland, Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, DuBois of Brockton, Devers of Lawrence, Provost of Somerville, Ashe of Longmeadow, Gordon of Bedford and Walsh of Framingham move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4403-2000, in line 28, by inserting the following: "provided further, that a $40 per month rental allowance shall be paid to all households incurring a rent or mortgage expense and not residing in public or subsidized housing; provided further, that a nonrecurring children's clothing allowance of $200 shall be provided to each child eligible under this program in September 2016;".
