Improve needle exchange

Ms. Story of Amherst moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

Section X. Section 215 of chapter 111 of the General Laws is hereby amended by striking it and inserting in place thereof of the following:-

Section 215. The department of public health is hereby authorized to implement needle exchange programs. Prior to implementation of a needle exchange site the department shall receive approval from the board of health in the hosting city or town.
