Mr. Devers of Lawrence moves to amend the bill in section 2, in line item 8324-0000, by inserting the following: "provided further that no less than $50,000 shall be expended for the Lawrence Fire Department" and in said item by striking the figures "$20,799,781" and inserting in place thereof "$20,849,781".
