Retention Account for CPCS

Mr. Fernandes of Milford moves to amend the bill by inserting after line item 0321-1504 the following new line item:-

0321 -1505 – For the retention of the Committee’s attorneys in all divisions with more than three years of experience; provided, that the Committee shall develop a formula for distribution of the funds; provided further, that funds distributed from this item shall be used for retention purposes and shall not be transferred out of the AA object class; provided further, that not less than 60 days prior to the distribution of funds, the Committee shall notify the house and senate committees on ways and means detailing: (a) the methodology used to determine the amount to be dispersed; (b) the reasoning behind the distribution; and (c) the number of attorneys who would receive funds from this item; and provided further, that no funds shall be expended on the administrative costs of the Committee……………………………$750,000
